The cloud storage is mostly irrelevant as Peter says, and pretty standard compared to any big tech company. But the hourly plans for text to speech are obviously not ok. And on top of that, it’s just a bizarre way of doing it.

See they are charging for cloud which is optional if you don't need you don't buy buying from there store is like Kindle and I also understand that they are cloud for speech recognition which cost them money they should do it locally and not charge it.

...And their auto backup to cloud doesn't even work. The tab is buggy as hell with apk apps. I got myself a Note 5 and Tab Ultra to replace this unsuable joke.

Unless other major vendors are providing these services for free, otherwise I don't see any problem them charging for special functionalities. If you don't feel like paying, just don't use them
