Your framing of gamer gate is either ill informed or rushed. The problem was that the depression game was an easily-made text based ‘game’ which was being pushed by game journalists simply because it was progressive.

If that isn't reason enough for you to absolutely disconsider anyone who uses the term to describe anyone other than Richard Spencer, I don't know what would.
Why would you give that pos credence on that thing? Would you give him credence on his other ideas? Do you think they have any validity?

No discussion of the alt-right is complete without mentioning that modern white nationalism, WN 3.0, didn’t emerge in a vacuum, it was a reaction to identity politics of the left. Also, a big element of its attractiveness is the social part of national socialism, traversing the class divide, instilling a sense of community, of belonging. And in Europe the new right is understood as being right on values but left on workers’ rights. And so called antisemitism is a big part, but it’s not really antisemitism because altrighters don’t hate the Jews for no reason, just for being Jews, they hate them for usury, porn, opioid addiction, sexual degeneracy, abortions, open borders, financial fraud, corruption of political process, false flag attacks etc.

I’m glad you’ve managed to distinguish between the conservative right such as Ben Shapiro and someone like Milo. I’m unsure about where I fall on this whole issue, but I think you made a wonderfully balanced presentation of the alt-right. I personally couldn’t spot any bias in this video.

Nice video, I think you’re probably a bit too kind to the alt right’s supposed “intellectual” founding but otherwise I’d agree with nearly everything you outline. Maybe one other important thing to add is the ecological threat we increasingly face and its role in driving people towards more extreme, isolationist ideologies.
