I finished my candidacy exam!
I was an atheist for ten years, but was slowly persuaded to theistic idealism. I claim God beliefs are epistemically justified (a priori arguments, experience), while epistemic atheists claim i need more justification. I want to debunk the best arguments for epistemic atheism.

- There are too many assumptions here. It's basically abductive arguments. We don't have enough relevant and reliable information.
- Just because we can make something up that seems highly probable doesn't make it exist.


- Without a reliable way to distinguish false positives from true positives, especially when dealing with probabilities, both the evidence and the conclusions do become somewhat pointless.
- That which can be accepted without reliable evidence is probably not very important. If it was important you would check more than one clock.

- It's not enough to have the least unlikely proposition. Especially without hard reliable evidence. Unless it's not important to be correct.
- We know that life exists, therefore alien life seems plausible to many. We know the universe exists, therefore other universes seem plausible to some. We don't know that anything supernatural exists, therefore anything supernatural requires at least some reliable verifiable evidence to even be on the table.
- Skepticism is important because without it too many false positives slips through the cracks.

11:10 - THAT is a massive claim. You are stating that "GOD DID IT" is a more probable claim than any of the hypotheses made by science (i.e. multiverse, etc...) 🤣
