I understand he had to be wounded for shock value, and the rest of the heroes are either dead, on the run, or cornered by enemy forces.

My theory is that he's wounded and that Galadriel will use Nenya to heal him.

It’s a good episode and this season is way easier to understand and follow than season 1.

My only complaint is the elves going from full charge to having a meeting with Adar to "oh well I guess I'll see you out on the field broski"

I think the Narvi moment was an illusion created by Sauron to weaken the opposing forces - which is why Disa didn’t come or we didn’t see what happened; it was all off-screen
