Notice how there were no review copies and basically no PR about the PC release prior to release? They knew this was coming. They knew they were releasing a game that wouldn't run for half the players and the ones it did run for was dog shit optimized wank. Congrats to the 10% of players that somehow have just the right components in your rig that actually make the game run properly, keep telling us its out computers that are shit and not the game, thanks

Totally agree. Pickin launch for PC. Did Rockstar even debug/test thoroughly their software on the PC platform??! All my other game run fine; Ubisoft games, WOW, Far Cry series, etc, etc.

Game crashing at "gunsmoke":
If you have Comodo: -Advanced detect shellcode injection in These Applications
-> Whole Game folder (I put also the launcher folder).

got the same issue as well, i was waiting to do some benchmarks on this game but rockstar fuck this shit up and i only slept like 4 hours in order to wake up early and do benchmarks and edit the video .. Indeed this is the last time pre-ordering from rockstar.

CHANGE compatibility mode to WINDOWS 7!!! Nothing else. Run from the Launcher. ENJOY!

I verified my game files right? Everything was there I turn around click lunch and it’s making me completely download the whole game again. When I can physically click on the rdr2 file on my computer it’s says it’s not there anymore this is BS

Hey all I uninstalled the launcher and reinstalled and is working, 1440p 60fps 1080ti r52600, as well as the other suggested fixes
