To clear things up, magnesium does in fact do some funny things when it's lit on fire but getting it to burn in the first place is rather difficult, especially if it's in bulk like that.

Dipping unlit magnesium in water will not make it explode. That only happens if the metal is already on fire, which also suffers the same issue as the previously stated one (difficult to set on fire).

Although, you could use some sharp object of sorts to scrape the metal and get magnesium shavings, which is considerably easier to set on fire as opposed to if it was in bulk.

About everything in this video is a lie. 88g isnt light, the sensors trash, it isnt even magnesium. Just buy a different mouse for half the price. This is a poorly constructed ad.
