Lovely haul! There's something about cozy mysteries that is just so relaxing. Love that edition of the Three Musketeers! I plan on getting to the Count of Monte Cristo this year. Dumas's books are quite intimidating - the sheer size of them!

I am big fan of Alexander Dumas. Even though his books are huge they tend to read easily. It will be fun to see what you think. The cheesy library mystery book sounds like fun!

Cavalier & Clay is a wonderful book. I have read several of Chabon's and enjoyed them all but this one especially.
The Three Musketeers is a fun read.

That copy of The Three Musketeers looks amazing! I love that book so much that I bought two of the (cheap WalMart edition) children's classics versions for my classroom library a few years ago. The bigger version is better. I hope you enjoy it! Now excuse me while I run to put cheesy mysteries on my wish list...

Hello! All the books looked great. I am going to add the Miley book to my TBR. Looked really interesting. I do want to read Three Muskateers also, but I always love the cheesy versions on late night tv {G} I want to read the inspiration for all of those adventure movies.

I've thought about picking up Homicide in Hardcover a few times so I look forward to your thoughts on it. That Penguin Deluxe is the translation of Three Musketeers that I want, I need to order it. I was planning to read Count of Monte Cristo next month, any interest in a buddy read? Also whatever happened to ProjectHitch?
