Installing our new diesel generator

Just because we got a new generator doesn’t mean the job is done. Now the real work begins. We need to cut holes, get fuel and power to this 8kw Powertech generator.

We’ve still got plenty to do, but it’s looking good so far, follow along!

That’s a perfect size generator for the bus. It’s amazing how quiet it runs. It will probably last a very long time too

Rubber bushing mounts for the gen support should help with vibrations and acoustic foam that is used in marine applications for sound dampening.

I was going to bring my rV there but don’t know yet if I should? Here in Florida is nice weather but my job I need to go to is in Bemidji where I am from n my home n land are

Nice progress! How does it compare to an inverter gen sound and vibration wise? And how often (maybe how many hours a day) would you be running the gen when on the road?
