Столько редкой техники пережило войну пробыв на ДВ с 1941 по 1945, зря всё порасстреливали на полигонах. Хотя может что у северных корейцев осталось ещё в виде дружественной помощи от СССР из 1950-х годов)

The Soviet forces that invaded Manchuria were, largely, battle hardened veteran troops that had years of experience fighting the German army.

The enlisted troops were mostly hardened veterans who knew how to effectively fight. The Soviets used very effective assault units to attack Japanese positions in Manchuria.

Their officers, junior officers, mid-level officers and senior officers, had developed skill at tactics and execution at all levels. Battalion, regimental, divisional and corps commanders were skilled practitioners of war. They knew how to concentrate firepower for devastating results.

And they had large quantities of high quality tanks and artillery.

This was arguably one of the most technically competent forces Russia ever sent to war against an enemy.
