I live in Southern California as well and am happy to say that this is the first time I’ve seen one of these videos where I’ve actually visited every spot on your list, but I’ve had 60 years of living in California to do it.

Lived in northern CA most of life and been to most of your list. But thanks for letting me know I’ve been missing out on Lassen NP my whole life! Been on the list for a while but might have to bump it up and take a family camping trip this summer!

Great video. I Just did a five day camp trip with the family at Williams Cove, which is right off of the Avenue of the Giants. Camping in the massive redwoods is the best. Nothing like it, Also, it’s right off the eel river. The water is super clear.

I lived in redding my whole life, was born there. It was the best place to live because i was 2 hours away from anything great in any direction, id often drive on 298 to Humboldt on a monthly basis for fun get up at 5am, get dressed out the door by 7, grab a coffee, then off i go

Thanks, I'm planning on a family trip starting/ending in SF that incorporates several of these (and Crater Lake NP in Oregon.) Burney Falls is getting added to the itinerary! Gonna have to hit Lake Tahoe on another trip.
