Definitely looks like an amazing TV, especially at such a size. I still remember when 40' was considered big.

This tech is 2 years old already, right? Sharp has always made a great LCD, if not the best, but OLED is hear now, and 4K OLED from Panasonic and Sony are just about to come.

Just some constructive criticism here. This was not a good overview compared to work done by other tech sites. If Techno Buffalo wants to take A/V gear seriously, I'd suggest getting someone on staff (or educating current staff) that has a better working knowledge of the market. TVs is one of those things that dedicated consumers take seriously, so simply repeating the manufactures spec claims won't do the job (e.g. contrast ratio, effectiveness of quattron). CNET is known for being one of the better sites when it comes to reviewing A/V gear (specifically, televisions) for mass consumers and enthusiasts alike. They offer a good template to follow when evaluating TVs.

I know this was just an overview, not a review, but I'd suggest taking every foray into new markets as seriously as the site takes mobile devices. Quality over quantity.

It's time for me to update my TV, I'm looking for something in the small sedan price range.

Sorry, but what is so great about this TV?  It's like last year's news.

In February 2012 I bought a 60" Sharp Aquos LED TV from Sam's Club for $1397.  At the time, I could have chosen the Quattron model for about $2, 000, but I did not see any real improvement in the picture by adding the yellow.

Right now is a good time to buy a plasma if you're a true movie or video game fanatic. The black levels are still superior along wit the refresh rate and this late in the game pretty much all of the burn in issues are a non issue.  All in all you can get a true cinematic experience and better video game experiences buy buying a plasma now that they're on their way out and supper cheap.

Sounds like good tech. I can't wait until glasses-less 3d TVs are the norm. They will take a chunk of the complaints away.

Hi TB, would you might telling me why the hack tat most LED tv in the market have darker/dimmer tone at the 4 corners? This Sharp 60in also share this design flaws from the video you post, and i am sure its not about viewing angle.
