At 1:28 it's kind of comical how the lady from Toronto is chatting calmly from her warm studio while the reporter in Halifax is being blown around mercilessly while trying to answer her questions.. He deserves a medal for this!

It’s 614 CLIENTS WITHOUT POWER not “ people”. Most “ people” don’t live alone. The Hydro stats are per client, per connection.

Boy...it's a good thing they have fossil fuelled generators to provide temporary power to their houses. Can you imagine how bad things would be if they only had wind and solar?

Pray to God, you all will get through this

Please tell us where your reporters are on the map. It would also be helpful if you said what percentage of customers is out of power, so we know if there are pockets with services. Thankyou 😊

Having the poor bastards outside is the dumbest thing. You cant hear anything because of the wind. As an audio engineer, I know minimizing the sound would be almost impossible. I mean with all the green screens and large displays, why not just use static cam footage, and have the person report, in the safety of a studio.

That hurricane in the satellite looks as big as Sandy. Can’t even compare these two.
