He could have not cleared the bark off and just used wood bolts and the bark would have healed around the bolts that hold the stairs on.

Nice job. When you put the roof on, brain went saw someone do the same with corrugated roofing and it leaked down the centre. Then you bitumened it . Spot on 😊. Not leaking now

one thing about a rigid made tree house is sooner or later wind will flex the tree and damage \destroy it. i had an idea to find at least 3 preferably 4 trees the configuration and size you want, cut the tops off and use either semi tires or tractor tires and cables to build the base on, then raise the base with a pully system secure it and build the rest. this will flex with the wind and allow a lot more flexability

어..저도 저게 버킷리스트이긴 한데, 매 번 나무 위 오두막을 볼 때마다 궁금한 게 있습니다.
저기서 장시간 상주하는 것이 아니니 수도는 없다고 해서 큰 상관은 없겠지만,
화장실은 없으면 불편하지 않을까요?..보통 다 화장실은 안지으시던데 이유가 있는건가요?
