We invite you to join us this morning as we continue in our sermon series, "The All-Sufficient Grace of God: Ministering in our Weakness." Throughout this series, we have been working through Paul's Second Letter to the Corinthians. In this, Paul's most personal letter, we see him defend his ministry against the Corinthians who see him as too "weak" and his sufferings as too great for God to be at work in him. And yet, Paul will show that it is through his weakness that Christ's power is displayed.
In this week's sermon, Pastor Jason Clubine will share from 2 Corinthians 5:1-10. In this passage, the apostle Paul dwells on our eternal destiny in Christ. While we live in this life, "we live by faith, not by sight." And yet, faith has confidence in its eternal inheritance because God has "given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come." Because we have this confidence, we can have hope in the midst of trials and seek to live a life pleasing to God.
