If the death rate for covid-19 is 1% and NY has now more than 80 thousand infected, we are about to see almost 9 thousand people dying in the next two or three weeks just in the state of NY. That's why this virus is so devastating. It spreads like wildfire. So stay home and stay strong!!!

Time to call for the resignation of NYC mayor, Bill de Blasio, because of his "go about normal life" statement made beginning of March, residents of NYC were unprepared for the virus.

Put it this way: as of yesterday, Italy was at 1, 829 cases per million and NY state was at 4, 313 cases per million. Italy's death rate was 218 per million. All things being equal (they're not; Italy had one of the best healthcare systems in Europe before this), NY may be looking at a death rate of 518 per million, or above 10, 000 deaths.
