Millions of Muslims are now in Saudi Arabia to perform a once-in-a-lifetime pilgrimage. In this video, Dr. Shabir Ally discusses the rituals of Hajj from start to finish, including entering a state of sacredness, circling the Ka'bah, walking between two hillocks, gathering on the plains of Arafah, stoning the devil and offering a sacrifice. He briefly explains the significance of these practices and prays for us all to have the opportunity to perform Hajj.

There is no mention of sacrifice in Qur'an. It's only based on one dream of Ibrahim a.s that too was rebutted by Allah in next verse. But Muslims more interested in hadith to corroborate it.

Selam Aleykum . I have a question. Is it allowed as a Muslim to love a non-muslim. And I don‘t mean in a marriage. I mean to love a non-Muslim as a friend or just because as a humam beeing.

I would like to ask: if a Muslim is vegan, are there alternatives to animal sacrifice during the sacrifice ritual?

In the Quran it says Abraham built the first Kaaba. If this is true then why isn’t it mentioned in the Old Testament and New Testament? There is no historical evidence about this until Islam. If Abraham did build it the Jews definitely would know about it and they would’ve prayed in that direction but there is no evidence anywhere other than the Quran. I’ve asked Jews and they have no idea about it and some even laugh at how ridiculous the claim is. Please discuss this further

Dr. Shabbir you are a very well spoken scholar, I'd love to hear the name Allah SWT instead of God and please pronounce all the Islamic names in arabic not like english. Please

. I believe the kaba represents the sun in the solar system and the 7 rounds they do on hajj represents one round for each planet. Also they go round the kaba in the same direction

Interestingly the Quran says "SO WE RANSOMED HIM WITH A GREAT SACRIFICE" Surah 37:107. It doesn't say anything about a "Ram"? The Muslims reject the story from the Torah but the Quran itself doesn't say anything about the sacrifice other than being "Great"; so obviously that piece of info came from the Torah;
Second, notice the Quran says "Ransomed"; which is a strong word to use in this case; Ransom means the payment for a prisoner to be released, but was the son of Abraham a hostage? Now lets put it together; A "great sacrifice", which the Quran does not name was Ransomed for the life of the son of Abraham? If Abraham had already succeeded in proving his faith to God then why would his son need a Ransom to be set free? I thought the purpose was to prove Abraham's faith; I thought Allah don't need sacrifices; And if Allah is the one who provided the "Great sacrifice" then does that mean that Allah sent a worthy sacrifice to be given unto himself? Or is this just foreshadowing of something greater to come? Obviously there's more to this story than what the Muslims are aware of🤔

THE STONING WAS ONLY ONE PILLAR RIGHT? The three pillars only came in recently.

Where do these rituals come from? Hindu robes, pagan shrine, pagan black stone, pagan circumambulation, , throwing stones. None of this comes from the God of the Bible. Nothing in Mecca but desert, no ancient city, nothing to do with Abraham, who sacrificed Isaac on Mount Moriah in future Jerusalem.

Which son did Abraham offer as a sacrifice? His legitimate or illegitimate son?
