Funny story, I got into Tokyo Mew Mew by accident. I was looking for Sailor Moon manga at the library and I saw Tokyo Mew Mew. It looked similar enough so I checked it out and I don't regret it one bit!

Tokyo Mew Mew was my JAM back in the day! I was like eight, or somethin? Man, those were the daaays....now I'm a dusty twenty year old. 😂

Both the english dub and original op give me so much nostalgia. As a kid when the dub stopped running I was so obsessed with the show that I ended up watching the rest online in japanese.

Rest In Peace Ikumi :( this show was such a pivotal show that got me into anime and I always looked forward to every new episode and even rewatched it more than 100s of times and even as an adult I still watch this time to time and even read her spin offs. My heart breaks hearing the news. Rest easy and peacefully ❤️
