T/Mon Alarm Screens: Standing & Change-of-State

Remote site monitoring with your T/Mon master station revolves around two primary alarm screens:

The Change-of-State (COS) Screen is typical of most SNMP managers and other alarm masters. It displays alarm events (both "set" and "clear") in reverse-chronological order, very similar to an email inbox. It's great for reviewing history, but can quickly pile up with entries and be difficult to use for real-time problem solving.

The Standing Alarm Screen is the solution to this problem, showing you only the alarms that are currently active in your system. Only alarms that need to be fixed are shown here, and the ONLY way to remove them is to fix the root problem.
