From the first Moxy album, released in 1975.

If you like Montrose, you'll like Moxy. They have a large Montrose influence in their style, but also have echoes of bands like Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, KISS, and Ted Nugent in their sound.

Pick up their first three albums (Moxy, Moxy II, and Riding High) today!

I'm a Canadian who loves hard rock and is very familiar with Toronto's classic rock scene like Rush, Triumph, Goddo, Teenage Head, Coney Hatch, etc. Somehow I never heard of Moxy. This is some of the best music I've ever heard

Man this is so deep in the much better past. I remember as a kid visiting older cousins in Texas and they introduced us to Moxy. Back then radio was actually respectable and they played music. We were blown away by this and AC/DC which would never be played back in our sleepy town in New Mexico. RIP radio days of old...I sure miss ye.

I saw Moxy 2 or 3 times in the mid-'70s. Corpus Christi benefited from everything that Joe"The Godfather of ROCK"Anthony did for San Antonio. I will NEVER forget what Joe and Lou did for ME, on KMAC-AM. I used to do a countdown as the Farm reports ended and the speakers would start to sizzle as the METAL lava poured out. Those two guys should NEVER be forgotten, for what they did for the Texas Metal scene!

Tommy was a one man tour de force with his Axe .
He showed he was unfortunately for only a short time, but
his recordings lives on.✨🎸

As a Brit I've always loved Canadian hard rock as it combines US sensibilities and polish with good old British raunch to come up with something unique and er, Canadian! Fantastic stuff.

2:29 is one of the most epic moments in all of rock. Not only that but it then goes into a smoking guitar solo by Tommy Bolin. Incredible!
