Sadly I do not think this version of the game will get a HD upgrade as the music is from the trilogy and is plagiarized in those games by Kenji Yamamoto. Though they could just add music in from the other two games like they did with the Budokai 1 HD game.

The texture in this game is very better than series 2 and 3, for example on the fingers. The fingers in series 2 and 3 are so ugly they look like they have no bones

Dang I’m so excited for Sparking Zero! (Which is technically Budokai Tenkaichi 4? Or 6? Idk) I loved Budokai 1, 2, and 3 but when Budokai Tenkaichi came out? I thought it was the greatest game ever made and that no Dragon Ball game would ever top it! I literally played it until my thumbs were raw! And then I played some more! No other Dragon Ball games at the time captured the high speed and chaotic nature of the battles in the show like this game!

Fun fact: in the cosmic emperor story, you are normally supposed to play with final form Frieza but it gives you 100% Frieza if you set the game to easy.
