NEW MINECRAFT UPDATES COMING IN 2025 (probably)

Minecrafts New Update is a bit mysterious right now, hopefully we'll know more soon. We do kinda know a little right now tho. Today we take a look at about 10 different themes that could be Minecrafts Next update! Oh and welcome to list week :)

I think the desert should be broken up into more biomes, a dunes or just like desert with literally nothing for no less than a few thousand blocks, a cracked dried up lake or something where you can find bones and certain animals like the armadillo, and maybe a lush desert full of plants and shit with snakes and lizards.

Someone brought up the very good point that changing base minecart speed would break farms, so making minecarts faster using (for example) configurable amythest rails would be best

the problem with updates is mojang keep adding new stuff, not fixing old

I really want Rice added to Minecraft. Having a water crop would be awesome, and Rice could use Bowls like the Stews do, with the food quality changing based on what else you put in it. Also, they should overhaul Bowls to allow some stacking. I would totally carry bowl food around, if it didn't require entire Shulker boxes of space.

If you look up date palm trees online it mostly shows them in sand, but when looking up coconut trees you'll notice a mixture of sand and grass.

i want to see ur take on what a storage update would look like. id love to see something like pipes or cables added with something like copper hoppers that move like a stack of items per tick

The Flowers Are Referring to the chorus flowers in the end and the sun is indicating that theres a glimmer bit of hope for an end update. the calender shows a month. so we're getting an end update in the next month!

What if we grow tomatoes on vines, they add tomatoes, a new mob, then you do bread, tomato and steak and you got a sandwich that heals for 4 health

The librarian change while poorly recieved is a great change. Similiar to terraria, it incentivises players to explore the world and build villages/bases in different biomes around the world. Its also less OP than being able to get everything you need from one small area and removes the process of players destroying a lectern and replacing it a thousand times to get cheap mending. The replayablity of spawning in a certain biome and knowing what that means in terms of mid game trading if more fun. As well as the need to create ways to get from your main base to other areas around the world for more trading. I know Terraria is much smaller than Minecraft to is makes MORE sense for Terraria, but it still would be a great BALANCE to minecraft and a change id appreciate. Dont comment until you've tested it. I played on a server with some friends and family. We had our own bases around the world and with that, different biomes. It made traveling to the other players bases more useful and interesting. It was also fun making nether tunnels to different biomes we found so we had dedicated portals for different biomes so we could trade for different enchanted books. Great idea from Mojang and I hope they keep it similar to what they had despite the children finding it too tedious or annoying to do.

tbh i wouldnt expect that many completely new features from mojang now since their update format is taking an old thing and making a new fresh take on it like the trial spawners, pale garden, breeze, etc

Monkeys, could give swinging vines, throws coconuts, or climbing mechanics, and rules monkey temples.

I think that we might be exaggerating this hint at the next drop. Keep in mind, tulips and cherry blossoms are in Minecraft. It could simply be a small drop where they make the sun brighter in a cherry blossom biome and add tulips to it. I’m probably wrong, but I would rather not get my hopes up.

2025 and still no palm trees, that's a shame. We definately need some desert variations: cool generated dunes, palm forest desert, oasis desert and stone desert, maybe also salt lakes.

And that's what I'm saying, Minecraft needs exactly this kind of update, updates that improve the game and bring interesting and cool content and not just random and practically useless content like the new updates.
