Magnetic Reconnection Alternative | Space News

A fundamental theoretical difference between traditional solar physics/astronomy and plasma physics is introduced. The Standard Model holds that magnetic field lines move or merge and frequently break and reconnect. Many solar physicists claim magnetic reconnection is responsible for enormous energetic outbursts like solar flares. Conventional astronomers state that magnetic reconnection in Earth's magnetosphere is responsible for Earth's aurora, and they now envision the process in the magnetospheres of many planets. Excellent explanation, he avidly exposes main stream science failed explanation, yet recognizes a sort of observed " reconnection or energy event" and provides a more concise and realistic explanation.

I think the main takeaway here is there's no energy pulse resulting from realignment of magnetic lines of force. This happens all around us in rotating electrical machinery - motors and generators. An example is an asynchronous motor - time varying magnetic flux in the stator induces voltage in the rotor bars, causing current to flow, causing magnetic fields to interact with stator magnetic fields. Which means they are essentially doing what's illustrated with the bar magnet in the video at up to thousands of times per second. So your refrigerator, air conditioner, washing machine, dishwasher, etc, are all working away happily with their motor's magnetic field lines mixing and realigning while you watch TV, and there's no flares or mysterious pulses of energy erupting from them..
If you interrupt any flow of current in a conductor, a collapsing magnetic field will induce a high voltage into the conductor; or if magnetic flux is changing and inducing current in the conductor, you affect induced voltage and current flow... but reorientation of field lines is not an event that causes anything at all to happen.
Perratt's explanation is pretty sound, it only lacks in the obvious inability to prove it happens in the sun, and of course, there's no fairy dust which would qualify it as a bonifide astrophysical theory.
This video did a good job showing the non-event that "reconnection" of field lines is, regardless of how you choose the words to explain it.

Let us consider for a moment what happens in the so called process of "magnetic reconnection." Lines of force merge, jump from one pole to another pole on an adjacent spot, or even across the solar equator during solar maximums. There are other "connections and disconnections" but as the narrator of the video points out, this is not exactly the correct nomenclature to describe what is really happening.

In the dynamic plasma of the sun, which thinly stretches out to the heliopause, is by its nature a current carrying conductor. This dynamic plasma is of varying resistance and inductance, just as the magnetic components of it are of varying reluctance and permeability.

To shed light on the phenomenon of solar flaring, we must consider what happens when a high potential DC circuit with a large available source of current is sharply engaged or disengaged, particularly so when connecting an inductive load. This is the same model circuit condition that occurs when magnetic circuits of high current carrying flux paths jump from one spot group to another, or from a spot group to a planetary body, comet, or other similar solar system member.


As you can see, accounting for the secondary transient electrical event produced by the primary "jumping" of flux paths due to inherenty variable magnetic properties of the dynamic medium explains the resultant "shockwave" we recognize as flaring. The primary cause is simply a sharply closed cosmic high voltage switch.

This is another enjoyable smackdown of the commonly-accepted science. "Lines of force aren't real entities" - but these are the bread-n-butter of the theories surrounding the Sun. They are spoken of as being as real as light itself. We inherently know they aren't real but still get roped into conversations with this as an underpinning assumption. Debating these issues often turns into debunking.  It is just as refreshing to listen to the realists speak of Einstein and many spinoffs of his "work" with disdain rather than fascination.

If magnetic reconnection had any validity then it ought to be reproducible in a laboratory, or even at home. Funny, when I play with two magnets I never seem to see or hear any "explosive energy release".

The Earth is LOCKED between two counter-rotated Fields. Jupiter shows how the Fields are counter-rotating in overlapped cylinders. The Field flattened at the Equator & overlapped by a polar opposite Field continuously. Such fully explains the Sun as well. As the Sun rotates as a Rubix Cube in broken + separated cylinders just like Jupiter. 25 Days at the Equator then linear in perfect symmetry toward each pole into 35 Days. The counter-rotation exists but invisible hidden in the plasma. Jupiter is the Rosetta Stone towards understanding the Sun's impossible for NASA & Scientists to explain rotation.

I hate to do this but I must. Hard atheism (not soft atheism) is the cause of the downfall of classical physics. It causes a person's beliefs to be related to as truths. Here's my definition of hard and soft atheism and agnosticism from observation. Hard atheist declares there is no God, a soft atheist believes there is no God and an agnostic doesn't know what to believe. The reason why a hard atheist relates to their beliefs as truths is they look inside themselves for truth instead of outside themselves for truth. That's why classical physics is dead to much of the sciences. The hard atheists killed it. This is not an insult of hard atheists but rather an observation I've made. They are in a classic delusion which is basically holding beliefs as truths. Hard atheists perceive all their beliefs as truths and because of that, they don't think they have any beliefs so they can't change them.
