End the subsidies and mandates for all electric vehicles, including the hybrids if they still have any. The free market is smarter than politicians, and when electric cars do become economical, people will buy them of their own free will without the need for bribes and mandates. Right now, the full electric vehicles are not economical or green and should not be subsidized. This plug-in may be OK. Just let market forces rule, not politicians.
