Man I really feel bad for that ref. Miz failed to do his spot and break up the pin and Morrison tried to save it by kicking out but he did it too late. Ref didnt have much of a choice than to count the 3. If he just stopped the count at 2 then it would look even dumber cause John didnt kick out. And the fact he got fired is just so over the top.

The 5-count in the Big E/Apollo Crews match was due to Apollo having E's shoulders down and the ref counted to 2 but then E tried to roll Apollo onto his shoulders so the ref restarted the count and counted 3 for Apollo's shoulders on the mat.

I definitely remember the incident with The Rock’s feet touching the floor when he eliminated The Big Show. Good thing the cameras was facing his back.

To be fair to Batista that was his final match in WWE, & he really didn't have to give a crap anymore.

I still remember the akwardness when Paul Heyman couldn't free Roman Reigns in Royal Rumble and the ref downright stopped counting, great match but that finish was next level akward just like the big explosion in Omega vs. Moxley at Revolution, both were amazing matches but the botched finishes were too much for fans to ignore (except AEW fans who defended the final with all they got because it's AEW).

i was there live for the match between Nikki and Tamina. me and my friend thought it was some weird angle set up, but ultimately the consensus among the crowd was complete and utter confusion

That Rock/Angle match ending botch was so notable for me because the storyline completely ignored it the next night on RAW

I don't know why, but I'm glad to hear that Rock cooled down and wasn't screaming or anything backstage after the match and got over it quick. And I'm sure Earl was happy he didn't get chewed out too lol.
