Stop Poisoning the Books

This is sooo true when you read Srila prabhupadas original text it is more personal and up close where as the present changed books sounds like formal and impersonal text. If you read the original text ...you will feel like prabhupada is talking to you directly.

My life has changed immediately after reading Srila Prabhupada’s books. That was 2002.. my first book was Easy journey to other planets.. after that, I became a voracious reader of Srila Prabhupad’s writings. When I found out that he is no longer with us, I cried and told the prabhu who gave me books that I feel so sad that I’m not able to meet this wonderful person. I had that feeling of separation from Srila Prabhupada just by reading his books. I am not by all means an elevated soul.. but I do understand that one can only be successful in their spiritual life when they religiously follow what the acaryas wrote. Srila Prabhupada is the acarya and those people who have been trying so hard to replace him by doing these nefarious and offensive deeds are nothing close even to the dirt on his lotus feet. My question is, why are these envious people being allowed to spoil the books and the society that our Acarya has so painstakingly established?.. why are they still in the Organization and still holding those positions?.. now that I’m realising, we are not making more devotees because everything has been corrupted. Those who are supposed to look after Srila Prabhupada’s interest are not qualified. There is no purity in them thereby watering down the potency of the Acarya’s spiritual endeavour and intent.

Every person involved at all in Krishna consciousness needs to watch this video. This should be shown in every ISKCON temple.

This is a crime. To change the words of the author without his consent is a crime. If you make changes then you must show the original and then the changes in a footnote...to claim Srila Prabhupada wrote these new versions is a crime. These are criminals. Period.

The changes leave no authority. Iskcon think that they can change the authority of a pure devotee. It's scary because it leaves many confused because Srila prabupada position seems to be up for grabs materially but spiritually Srila prabupada position is eternal from my understanding.

I don't read anything that was put out after prabhupada left this world. Krishna books Inc sell only the pre 1978 works so order your books from them.

Thanks to Krishna there are brave devotees to reveal the thinks presented in the video. I am smashed by the changes and the approach of that J.A. swami - I am an Iskcon devotee and the book distribution has always been my love. Now I am getting dry and almost crying. And those pictures, replaced...and Srila Prabhupada's anger about that... I don't know what I'm gonna do, knowing how hipnotized my local (Polish) yatra is ...but surely I can't leave the matter forgotten. Prabhupada built the house for vaisnavas, not for rascals pretending vaisnavas. One day these evil manipulators changing books and pictures will be thrown away and end up in hell. A piece of advice to the speakers in the movie : be careful who you meet separately and who you accept food or drink from... By the way - as far sastric changes are concerned : SB 1.16.12. - there are two purports to the verse, so different to each other, one with Sridhara Swami mentioned and one without - I found it as in Polish editions it went the same, the changes are not cosmetic - they are huge.

Editing and changing Prabhupadas books is absolutely indifensible.

It is more offensive than breaking the 4 regulations. It is an aparhada. If a neophyte, stoner-reject devotee like me can understand that, why cant Jay Israel?

I for one refuse to distribute BBT books. I only share the original unedited versions

I have recently bought the Bhagwad Gita from ISKCON can anyone plz guide me on how to che check if it changed or not and where could I find original Srila Prabhupada books without alterations.

I am from West Bengal, India. Fortunately I can understand the original authentic biographies of God Sri Chaitanya. I know some basic sanskrit too as I studied sanskrit upto the undergraduate level. In my student life I studied many books of the Prabhupada. I found they have distorted, simplified and changed the teachings of Gita and of God Sri Chaitanya. In bengal, most educated people dont pay heed to his books.They are popular outside bengal and India, to those who cant read the originals for some reason or the other.
