Great video. Thank you. Fonseca and Alcaraz just strike differently

Easiest take back to copy is Rune - very minimal, can adjust quicker to ball speeds. Shelton also has a minimum take back. Shelton arms and wrist the ball than anyone in his technique. Shows that it still applies, but he is strong and muscular. Fils has hardest take back to time. Thanks for the videos as always! - Out of everyone on tour I think Sinner has the hardest technique to copy. I am sure many coaches thought his forehand technique is weird and wrong. At the end can you hit where you want, pace, power and spin? Then your technique is solid. The thing that all these players have in common - split step, unit turn early with big rotation. These 2 things most of us mortals don't focus on and it's main factor that all these players have in common. So do the boring work repetitions. Split step, unit turn. x 10000

It's surprising how much difference in spin generation there is between pros. Alcaraz and Fonseca both have heavy spin. No surprise there. Fils and Rune have very noticeable spins even in slow-mo. I knew even before watching the video that Tien hits his forehand flat, but I can't believe Mensik and Shelton hit their forehands so flat too. It looks like they are hitting their shots with heavy spin in their match footage but it clearly isn't the case when lookingly closely.

Terrible looking forehand. Agassi’s looked the best.
