Hopefully someone from the band reads this, because I really want you guys to know how much this song means to me. I've listened to tens of thousands of pieces of music (classical included), but not only is this song great on its own, coming from an exceptionally talented band, but it so closely mirrors my life that it's surreal. I'll detail out each point:

- My wife and I went to the same high school but didn't like each other back then. Ten years later, right before our high school reunion, a mutual friend invited me to go to dinner with him and her. Reluctantly I went along. My wife and I were engaged 6 weeks later. It was "cold but it got warm... and certainly "love at second sight".

- Our "song" that we used to sing to each other all the time is "You Are My Sunshine". Then in 2012 my wife gave birth to our daughter, who has beautiful blue eyes (like mine). "She has eyes just like her father's; they are blue when skies are grey" (part of the lyrics to You are My Sunshine)

- My wife has been diligent about feeding our dogs their own food, while I usually have been a little liberal about giving them our table food. :)  - "You curse the dog, you say that I should never feed them what is ours..."

- We work exceptionally well together at home and are going on 11 years of marriage. No one ever complains about separation of things that need to be done around the house. "So I set the table, and you can make the fire."

To the band: You guys rock - thanks for making such an awesome song.
To my wife: "You're the love of my life; I'll never leave your side"   ;)

When I first heard this song I cried. It's my absolute favorite song of all time. I sobbed when I heard it live. Even if they never make an album again, I can die happy knowing I saw this with my own two eyes. And I couldn't be more grateful.

This line has always got to me because it's quite sad but since being broken up with by the girl I thought I was going to be with forever a few months ago makes it so much sadder...

The piano and the twinkling guitar (only way I can describe the sound) is like, beautiful.
Never get sick of hearing this song. The music is both simple and complicated and I find that all of Fun's music is catchy but it isn't the type of catchy that you can get sick of.
And the lyrics are poetic and it tells a story and have I mentioned how much I love this song?

This is a beautiful song sung with such heart. The music of this trio is so professionally done, I am proud to say they are one of my most treasured groups to listen too. Thank you for your music Nate Ruess,  Andrew Dost and Jack Antonoff. I thoroughly enjoy the art you create together.

I almost always cry when I hear certain parts of this song. That's not a bad thing. This song helps me get in touch with emotions I need to feel. For that I am grateful.

The way Nate describes his parents and sister is so amazing, they all sound like the nicest persons in the world, but than again so does he.
It's nice to see how grate full he is towards his family.
