I think the DJI mic will balance well seeing how this can handle 300 grams and the DJI OM 6 works with the DJI mic and that also handles 300 grams. I have the iPhone 14 pro with the DJI mic receiver it comes to a lot less than 300 grams. It worked with the OM 6. I didn't like the OM 6, though, so I returned it. This seems like a better option. I would think attaching the receiver to the hot shoe would make it a little cumbersome with the extra cord and it may not work when you extend the selfie stick. Great review . . . Please try it with the DJI mic receiver. That is the only thing holding me back from purchasing it.

Only works well for iPhone users. Not so fun with Android users. Buyers beware!

I think it will work fine for Android users. The fact that they assume everything is made for iphone is very annoying
