Cina is flight-testing two competing versions of 6th Gen fighters. The USA is announcing two new aircraft. Maybe I'm wrong, but announcements don't win wars.

It’s not replacing the F-22 anytime in the near future. This is more of a command and control aircraft with of course the abilities of a fighter. If anything I see this replacing a lot of the Airforce’s F-35’s first. But that too will be awhile. The Airforce finally released the first ever video of it and it is accompanied by 2 F-22’s. With the new modernisation program for the F-22 they will be bringing the steel while the F-47 will be the lead to do everything from electronic warfare to identifying targets for the raptors, while keeping them out of harms way, Etc. These two will make a good team. And it does not really look like this aircraft in this video. China’s 6th gen seems to be lacking substantially now.
