How does our XV match up to yours? Anyone we've missed who you think must be in the squad? 👇

Excluded both NZ and SA player of the century ….. Colin Meads & Frik du Preez. Change your title to best XV in professional era

Pretty good selection but very surprised to not see Cullen in there

I think you have to go with a player’s highlight reel and no 9 comes close to Sir Gareth and that was in an era when there were a lot fewer international matches. The same can be said for Danny Gerber. He’s the most balanced powerful runner I’ve ever seen. Also there have been plenty of New Zealand and South African props better than Jason Leonard. All my opinion but I believe I could justify these with visual proof. 1 other thing, Christian Cullen is the greatest 15 I’ve ever seen even though I rated Blanco highly.

As a Frenchman I'd say Dupont is on track but Gareth Edwards has his legacy already, Dupont hasn't finished his (promising) career yet.

Christian Cullen should have been there. Really hard to pick mover the eras too. The game has changed so much since it went professional

Amateur era alone you could pick so many .

Fourie du Preez was a rugby genius and the best no. 9 of all time by a mile. (And you don't even mention him.) 🤣🤣🤣

Gerber at 13, Cullen at 15, Van der Westheisan at 9...and I know a controversial one...but Jonathan Davies at 10

Having grown up watching Barry John, Phil Bennet and "Jiffy" Davies, I could never understand the fuss over Wilkinson. I suspect it's because Rob Andrew played so many matches for England. When you've been beating your head against a brick wall, it's lovely when you stop.

obviously, you have never heard of Danie Gerber. Look at the conversion rates of both Danie Gerber and BOD, and then make an informed decision.

Did you forget Naas Botha, Danie Gerber, Bryan Habana...To name a few

Cannot believe John Eales cracks the nod at no 5, instead of the Rugby God, Victor Matfield. Matfield was a lineout savant. There has never been a better line out forward. He was sneaky useful around the park too, he had a decent work rate. Without a doubt one of the first names on any Greatest XV.

Ridiculous. No JPR, Gareth Edwards and Barry John. These played on pitches that were 6 inches of mud.

A few names to ponder : Josh Kronfeld/ Sia Kelisi/ as flank fowards. How dare you didn’t choose : Wayne Buck Shelford as best nos8. Zinfandel would have been my deputy. Shame on you for not also choosing Gareth Edward’s as scrum half. And Phil Bennet. Otherwise you chose well.

At least 9 changes to your starting XV.
15. Christian Cullen.
14. Israel Folua
13. Danie Gerber.
12. M'aa Nonu
09. Gareth Edwards.
08. Kieran Reid.
06. Pieter Steph du Toit
05. Sam Whitelock
03. Owen Franks.

On bench bring in: Malcom Marx; Joost Van der Westhuizen; Victor Matfield; Beauden Barrett

Any list that doesn't put Christian Cullen in the 15 jersey is invalid. He is literally the best fullback there has ever been

Please tell me JPR Williams is on the list.
