I was explicitly told by my English teacher that I did not have to worry about education. As an Aian I would end up in a kebab shop or at the market stalls anyway. Interestingly I left school without any qualifications and did end up in a kebab shop.

That was a complete deviation from the actual representation of what the self fulfilling prophecy means.
If a professor channels to a student[s] that the student[s] will do good in his class (even if the student[s] was not top ranked, coming in), because the student[s] will make an effort to make that expectation become real. Not because the teacher lower their responsibilities.

Hmm i dont know about this I gave more attention to my sons who were struggling at school and less to my gifted sons and it worked out well.
