this is perfect. i'm still struggling after 14 years of making music here, and the advice is always "don't give up!" "try x, y, or z!" and i'm like... did you not hear? in order to have been making music here for 14 years, i had to have spent time singing myself for years before that. it's been a 20-some-odd year effort, and i can't just collab to get things working.

but doing my own stuff is always the most fun for me. thank you for reminding me of that. and for all of your absolutely lovely music!!!! the entire new album + a letter to the universe has been on repeat since they dropped, and i'm so happy to see you coming so far and giving GENUINELY GOOD ADVICE AHHHH WE NEED YOU
