Keira Knightley Talks About Her Pregnancy

The actress opened up to Ellen about how being a mom-to-be is going for her.

I like chatty people, what's the problem? I thought she was funny and Ellen likes talkative guests. Hormonal is not a good word to describe chatty pregnant women. It is actually just excitement and lots of feel good hormones, plus increased blood flow and energy at times. That's a sign of a healthy woman and a healthy pregnancy!

I've always liked Keira Knightley. She's strong, independent, witty, funny, charming, and always speaks her mind. She often talks about things she's passionate about. And she's one of my favorite actresses as well. I've seen many of her movies. I'm happy for Keira and her pregnancy. So many people are pregnant this year - my co-worker, my cousin (both my co-worker and my cousin are due to give birth this April - one day apart), Carrie Underwood, Keira Knightley, Kate Middleton, Sophie B. Hawkins, etc. I wish the best for Keira. Congratulations to her on her Oscar nomination as well. I'll be watching the Oscars this weekend. It's always nice to see Keira on TV. :-)

This is so awkward. I love Keira Knightley, not sure what the deal was with the audience being so silent with nearly everything she said. They usually lose their shit when Ellen raises an eyebrow..

She looked fine both before and during her pregnancy. She really wasn't terribly skinny before; it's just that she, like me, has a smaller chest. If you look at her arms and legs from before, you'll see that yes, she's thin, but not frighteningly so like people believe. She's also really toned. I think that's just her natural build. Unless it's for health reasons, telling someone to put on weight or "eat a sandwich" is no better than telling someone to lose it.
