Remember when they first introduced tavern spells? I just assumed that was supposed to be on par with other "splashes, " like trinkets, prizes, buddies, etc. I'm glad that it turned out to just be the new baseline vanilla, with splashes added on top. I'm fine with them skipping vanilla, but if they were going to do vanilla, I'd want it to involve a significant minion AND tavern spell shake-up.

Going straight to trinket meta is just about the last thing I would’ve expected to happen. I was personally hoping for quest meta to come back (it’s been a really long time since I’ve actually played quest meta), but I loved trinkets too. I’m glad to see they’ll come back too.

I think this will be fun. Will add a lot of variety. Problem with anomolies is you know before selecting a hero if your going to like or dislike the game. Some people anomoly quit at the start.

With over 100 trinkets then you have more agency.

I hope and i want to say i'm sure that Lokholar the new element end of turn is not a standalone card, and that end of turn effect (twice even, or 6 times with g drakkari), is made for some end of turn mass buffing

I'm new to BGs so I have no idea what a vanilla meta is, im assuming no "anomalies" for this season would've been the vanilla meta, so having trinkets immediately eliminates the vanilla meta. Honestly, I find it more fun. I'd much rather have a unique twist every game than vanilla to learn for a few months and then start having fun. It didn't take me long to learn about the anomalies and how to play around certain ones, and with trinkets already being an anomaly I feel I have a decent understanding of them already as well. I am looking forward to having trinkets right away.

The divine shield thing that buffs tavern spells, seems pretty nice with the anvil trinket ^^

I am pretty excited! I just came back to the game after a year and a half, so i haven't played with trinket and barely played with buddy back when they've been introduced 😅

So right now, getting the anomaly where the trinkets are there or when the buddies are in the shop is a freaking nightmare 😂 i'm so lost 😭

But i loved so much the quest era. I hope it will come back at a certain point 😊

Going straight into trinkets is great idea IMO, I don't really like vanilla tbh, I don't mind it at the beggining of the season when they introduce 40+ new minions but for a 2 weeks maximum, last time they kept it like 2 months. When info about all new, returning and disappearing minions coming out?

The developers will lock its hero power until turn 3 for the new hero for gaining maximum gold, like that hero where you can trigger battlecries, that elemental card is for other minions not just elemental… can stack with tier with menagerie build

the neutrals have some power this meta, especially with the trinket that makes neutrals have all tribes. if you dont hit the trinket, then its your opportunity to pivot.
