Smh at half the people in these comments. I’ve been wearing the same clothes since middle school and theyre falling apart. Yes thrifting is great but it doesn’t always follow the trends, and sometimes you just wanna treat yourself to some new clothes! Shaming ppl for not being 100% sustainable is not going to motivate anyone to hop on the movement. We live in a consumerist society and its not realistic to be 100% sustainable. I think anyone contributing at least a little bit is AWESOME! Thank u for this video 🥺💖

When possible, buy sustainable but remember the best way to be sustainable is to not buy things you don't need! It's definitely a balance because who doesn't love shopping but reducing consumption is super important

I see a lot of people saying that the most sustainable thing to do is not buy unnecessary clothes, and while that is true, getting people to start switching to sustainable shopping options is the first step. It isn't realistic to ask everyone to not buy things they won't need, because people always will, but if they're at least buying from sustainable places, then it's much better for the planet. Baby steps guys

+ thank you for being transparent about the realities of the pricing of sustainable clothing and how thrifting is often the more accessible sustainable route. love the pieces in this video tho! so many fun colors and patterns.

Actually the most sustainable way is just not buying unnecessary clothes just because they are sustainable😂

I think it’s great that you’re talking about all these sustainable brands (esp. because these ones aren’t that popular) but you only address things like water and energy efficiency, reusing materials and so on. one part of sustainable fashion is the ecological aspect but the other is the social one. where do these companies produce? how do they treat their garment workers? how much are they paid? what kinds of people are involved in the sewing etc.?

not trying to hate but sustainable haul is an oxymoron! buying stuff we don't need is the opposite of sustainable since we need to lessen our consumption overall and learn that what we have is enough. I understand that you're trying to introduce brands for people who do need clothes, so perhaps "recommendations" is better?

I love the idea of shopping from sustainable brands, however it’s important to remember that buying all of these clothes online required them to be packaged and shipped, using immense amounts of water and CO2.

These pieces are awesome and also it's so nice that our generation is really more caring about the environment and trying to be ethical. But also, as Elena mentioned, they are overpriced, so if you can't afford sustainable clothing, please don't feel guilty like I used to, just know that minimalism is also part of sustainability. Sending love to everyone xx

Elena – thank you so much for making this video, I love the content as always! I appreciate the fact that you acknowledge the exclusiveness of sustainable clothing when it comes to costs and pricing, but in the case of many brands, it also extends to sizing. If possible, it would be great if you could highlight some brands that offer extended sizes in a future video :)

I love this but like it’s impossible to shop sustainable brands because it’s insanely expensive

For me, thrifting is the only way to go. Just one of these "sustainable" pieces costs $150, which is half of my clothing budget for the entire year. It's not going to happen. LOL
