I'm involved with the trucking industry; I own a small trucking company.
Maybe you've heard of the new laws implemented this new year, regarding Electronic Logging Devices, or ELD's.
"IT" requires that all trucks year 2000 and newer, be fitted with these electronic devices: in the name of SAFETY of course. Now, although the government promises it will not be used to invade privacy; these devices can be tracked across country and the data files retrieved as the truck passes any transponders mounted along side the roadways.
Now, what I find most concerning about this, is that if you refuse to comply..., points will accrue, fines multiplied and ultimately drivers and vehicles will be put out of service.
Basically, your truck will be chipped, or you will not be allowed to work..., sound familiar?

When information like this is given out to the public that means the proposal or technology is 40-50 years old and they have already been doing it for that long. It is very scary to think how much has progressed in those years and what they are working on now and that will be revealed in 40 years.
