This flute was made from very very old wood, from a barn in California that was built in the 1800's, so you know the tree was alot older. Good flutes are made individually, so they have a personal character, and this flute likes to be played very very fast, more like an Irish penny whistle, i like the subtlties of the redwood, so I do my best to bring out the softness of the sound it can make while trying to appease the fast nature of the spirit of the flute...It was made by a guy named Chilito Valenzuela look him up on facebook, he might just have a flute for you...enjoy!!!!
