In my opinion Development, impact, and journey goes to Logan. Logan has been living for centuries and been experimented on many years that made him lose his memory so many times. He lost the people he loved and cared about and saw himself as a heartless monster that was ought to be made to serve as machine on killing countless innocent people. It was hard for Logan to move on after he killed Jean and promised himself he was done being the hero after he lost more people he cared about because he felt like he was the danger. In Wolverine we see mindset of Logan go through transition from a guilty soldier to a honorable warrior and learned to have closure for himself because he knew it wasn’t his fault and he had move on because it wasn’t fair for himself or the people around him. Miko and others saw that Logan wanted a fitting “honorable death” In Days of Future Past we see that Charles was Logan’s main motivation to keep fighting to not protect his family but to believe he can be better for them in their presence that he’s not a mindless animal. The brilliance in this movie is that the roles are reversed, Young Charles is the one learning and doubtful of his growth and abilities while Logan is confident and determined to show Young Charles his way. Logan lived in those shoes as a teacher as Charles was for Logan and he begun to teach the students at the Manson and begun to accept his role in that family. In the movie Logan, we see Logan sustaining his motivation for family and protecting Charles at all cost desperately because he didn’t want to be alone and feel like he was nobody without Charles. Yes, the poisoning in Logan’s body was killing but so was his mind psychologically letting the poison sink in so he could finally die. His family at this point suffered a sad fate and reopened his wounds ever since. In the ending Logan finally got the death he always wished for and had eternal peace. This poetic scene with Laurel holding Logan’s hand as the “holding his own heart” in his hands as he got his fitting honorable death. My point is that Logan went through many journeys and had more emotional impact in my opinion than Tony had. Tony felt guilty for people due to his inventions and been trying to stone for that ever since. He saw a “vision” of the Avengers dying, this felt made him feel so much under pressure and then in Endgame we see the rise and fall of Tony Stark.
