Create a simple GUI application with an exit button just to show how the Eric IDE works with PyQT (Qt Designer).

are you allowed to change the color of the buttons on QT designer on the Pi itself? I ran into a problem on a personal project where I made the UI in QT Designer on Windows where the buttons were different colors, transferred the file to my Pi 3 running Raspbian, and the buttons changed to gray despite their color being set otherwise. if I can change the colors in your method I think you may have solved my problem

So once a .py file is created, do the other Raspberry pi's need to have pyQt5 installed to run the application or will the UI run anyway without updating them. Let's say I have a development pi that I develop on and then I have 100 Raspberry pi's I want to run the application on. Do all 100 pi's need to have PyQt5 on all of them too to support the graphics and elements used in the application UI? thanks!

IDK what's up with your video. But your logo shows clearly while at about 1:30 your whole video goes to crap and turns green/grey.

Thanks for sharing the video. I run Eric in Windows and got problem with pyuic5 when compiling the form as you got the same problem at 2:30 in the video. Do you have any suggestion to solve the problem ?
