The best adventure town in southern Oregon??

1. Crater Lake National Park:
less than 2 hours from Medford. The deepest lake in the US!

2. Rogue River:
great view points along the drive to Crater Lake

3. Wine country:
over 30 wineries nearby

4. Downtown Medford:
delicious coffee shops (our favorite was Forage!) and restaurants

5. Prescott Park and Roxy Ann Peak:
beautiful views of the valley and are right near town

6. Mill Creek and Barr Falls:
beautiful waterfalls about about from Medford

7. Visit a craft brewery:
many throughout the town. We liked Common Block Brewing!

There are so many epic adventures to experience in the area!

as long as you’re not in methford it’s pretty nice. most of this stuff is maybe 30min-2hrs away lol

Medford is so far away from all of those. Seriously like at least two hours.

♥ National Creek, Muir, Clearwater, Whitehorse, Watson, Toketee, Jack, and Susan Creek are just a few of the waterfalls I live by. Upper Umpqua and Rogue River gorge. *Crater Lake.* Not to mention all the little yummy berries to be found in the area. Pie at Beckie's Cafe. All around highways 62 and 138 are a GR8 place and not to be missed!

Methford sucks but all thr cool scenary is awesome! Check out tablerock or some dollar moutain! Christmas valleys "crack in the ground" is always a fun hike

Medford is not close to crater lake I'm in silver lake Oregon and i don't appreciate misinformation about Oregon

Medford really isn’t very pretty. You get 1 good month in the spring then it all turns brown. Most hikes are pretty far away. I prefer Virginia. It’s always green and you are only about 10 minutes from a trailhead. Sadly I’m am stuck in Oregon at least one more year.

Lmao medford is the worst part of southern oregon. People are nice but the city itself is sketch and crater lake is over an hour away. Ashland or Grants Pass are more the "adventure towns"
