In this episode, we have Annie Hopper, founder of the Dynamic Neural Retraining System, or DNRS.

Thank you for this interview. After 19 yrs of CFS, I found DNRS 2 1/2 months ago and nothing has done for me what this program is doing. Persistence, and remember your 'Why', you will get there. I haven't had to rest but 1 time in 2 1/2 months, and that once was because I had 4 major events in one day. GO ME!!! Thank you Annie. I look forward to life after recovery.

I was diagnosed with ME/CFS in 2012. Very ill. Couldn't work. Still ill 2020 but heard Annie Hopper talking about her recovery from MCS and I thought, "That's like me! My body overreacts to EVERYTHING. Any stimulus is too much - noise, light, movement or activity, certain foods..." So I wondered if what made AH better could make me better, whether my limbic system was overresponding to what it perceived as "danger". I ordered DNRS and did it Sept 2020 to March 2021. It made me LOADS better. I then topped it off with learning about Dr Sarno's work - and hey presto! I am no longer ill! No symptoms by Dec 2021. One relapse April 2022 but fine since then - bit weak and no stamina due to having been inactive for so many years, but not ill.
In a nutshell, our brains give us symptoms to protect us from perceived danger. Also brains love patterns so we get "stuck in a rut". Luckily our brains are neuroplastic - we can change them. This is the key! Good luck to anyone out there on the journey to wellness - stay determined and you WILL find a way.

God bless the healthcare professionals who have the determination to figure out the mysteries to heal themselves and bring others along w/ you! I purchased the program a few yrs ago and watched the cds, read the book but wasnt ready to do daily practice w everything else going on ( many yrs undiagnosed neuro lyme w all the symptoms) ironically Im a former RN w psych degree and also past trauma and this just made sense although struggled to wrap my mind around it w all the symptoms. 5 yrs of alternative treatments have improved but just not myself. A former Lyme sufferer who acheived full recovery reminded me of this and Im doing daily practice now as I hope the final piece of the puzzle. Much love to Annie Hopper and your handsome host for bringing awareness to the complete healing that can be acheived.❤

The limbic system isnt impaired or injured. Its working perfectly fine. Its perceiving danger everywhere and sending ⏰️ alarms. Its job is to keep you alive. It doesnt care if you suffer. So it will throw on alarms and ask questions later. What we have to do is bring down our baseline and turn off Alarms the symptoms will go as a consequence.

Loved this, I've been saying for a while now - I'm getting mixed messages from brain, you've explained it all, I'm 63 - i had menopause in miniature, PMT for a while, now reliving IBS but not as bad - in my opinion my brain is remembering IBS, because I spent so many years 'attempting to talk to my subconscious mind - I have naturally moved onto talking to ANS in the same way, my little system is haphazard, thanks for all this

She recovered with Lightning Process by Phil Parker which would've been nice to be mentioned. What is strikingly interesting is the fact that there are so many elements from LP in DNRS. I would've expected some credit to be giving in that matter.

Her program wasn’t for me. But I still owe SO much to her. Because it was her program that came up at recommended after being home bound with my unexplained illness.

That let me into the long road of recovery and being at 85% I’m so grateful.

Oh my god - reaction to exposure. I’ve actually collapsed in the perfume department of the airport. Crying and literally sprinted down the road when I smell cigarette smoke. The actual only way I’m surviving at the moment is to make myself toxic. I know that’s insane but as a numb zombie like everyone else I can just about cope.

Bought the program. Opened the book . One of the 1st steps is what do you want. The book has laid on a shelf for years now. What if all you want is death. Nothing from nothing leaves nothing.

What's the general cost for something like this? My body is still messed up from mold and I've been in some flares but believe my new home is clean since I've made some nice progress but it's been a rollercoaster
