In light of the new movie, I was just talking to someone about this run and how Byrne did a lot of world building for Diana. Including the creation of Cassandra Sandsmark that DC significantly expanded as a character over the years. I'm also a Byrne fan and collected the comics when originally released. Your review definitely tempts me to get the omnibus.

one other thing i noticed with byrne's superman & wonder woman was his way he always seemed to write then like Mr fantastic- they were really smart/thinkers, able to solve anything.

I think you mean "gutter loss" on the spread pages. I wasn't sure if to get all of the series, or wait for an omnibus.( hanging out for the JK4W omnibus by byrne to be released.)

Book 3 is expensive now unfortunately, wonder if theres any chance of an omnibus.

When binding of the book is to tight you get gutter lose it’s down to bad production value. Maybe we’ll get a better version in an omnibus some time
