The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be the 23rd FIFA World Cup. The tournament will be jointly hosted by 16 cities in three North American countries: Canada, Mexico, and the United States. 60 matches, including the quarterfinals, semi-finals, and the final, will be hosted by the United States while neighboring Canada and Mexico will each host 10 matches. The tournament will be the first hosted by three nations. This tournament will be the first to include 48 teams, expanded from 32.

My prediction is final will be held at Metlife due to time zone closer to Europe and opening games will be Sofi for USA, Azteca for Mexico & Toronto for Canada. All three opening host games will be played on the same day.

Update edit: i was one day off (opening game at the Azteca) from my prediction being 100% right.

All USA stadiums are 70k+ capacity, they are very ready even if the world cup is being held at their venue only.

Anyone traveling to the States, Canada or Mexico and have never seen these stadiums in real life. You will be amazed!! Dallas, LA, New York/New Jersey, Mexico City and Guadalupe are the most impressive and you must see. Plan your trip around the stadiums, not just the games for this one!
