I was trying to experiment with the new settings to achieve good fps and visual fidelity but you seem to have done just that. Nice video.

Some extra things to add, if you really want to see the effects of lumen, you have to enable BOTH shadows and lumen. It’s such a big difference that I would say that if you’re not going to use both at the same time, I wouldn’t use either of them at all. It’s better to save your fps than use settings that won’t provide much of a visual difference at all.

Therefore, if you want to use both shadows and lumen, and want good fps, you need to balance all the other settings. That means turning down your textures and effects settings, trying different FSR levels and do many optimisations outside of fortnite (nvidia, windows, etc). Just play with it, you will eventually find the settings you’ll love.

For those who are having issues with grass not showing, we have FINALLY found a fix. In your quality preset, set it to low, hit apply then change back to your custom settings. This should fix and show your grass. Thanks to wolfman21 for confirming this to work and thanks to everyone who tried many different solutions to fix the issue. 🥰

I have High Res Textures off but the game still only loads when the bus already dropped me off no matter the options i put
But when i put on perfomance mode isntead of dx12 it loads in a few seconds
