I CAN Defeat Air Man (animated tribute)

I hope this is taken in the right way and not interpreted as stealing a style or relying on confused viewers. If it ends up being an issue then I'll happily talk about my process and research and take this video down.

I'm pleased with the outcome, but I'll talk about my evaluation and reflection on the piece in a future video, what went well, what could be done better, what I learned and how it can be used on the channel.

This is based loosely on a speedrun of Mega Man 2 for the NES, though a bit more daft.

I animated it in Adobe Flash and composited it in Adobe After Effects.

The Air Man level is the worst time for people who have irrational fear of heights. One hit from the Oni's horn and falls down to Game Over.

I love how Crash man is called "Crlash man" because in the japanese copy of the game, Crash man is called "Clash man"

This is very cute (mostly just everything about Airman himself), and I think it does a very good job of being inspired by Terminal Montage but not really being the “same” style, it’s very distinct. I don’t know if that’s what you wanted exactly but that’s what I think at least
