Operation

Turn ON/OFF
Single click the switch to turn the light on and off.
To Change Modes:
When the light is on, long press the side switch to cycle through low, medium and high.
Shortcut to firefly: When the light is off, long press the side switch to get firefly mode.
Double click to turn to turbo from any mode. Another double click to get strobe.
Memory Function:
The light will turn on in the last mode accessed, except firefly, turbo and strobe.
Rechargeable Function:
2A charging by USB port. During charging, the indicator is RED. After being fully charged, the indicator will be BLUE.
When indicator flashes purple, it means abnormal charging. Only firefly, low and medium modes are available while charging.

I know you've been away a while, but I am curious how you evaluate old 18650s you must have a lot. I know many say to toss below 2.5Volt. But do you also test the mAh capacity of old and new cells. What's the best way to do it? I know some chargers come with such extras. Could make a great video. Hope all is well and look forward to your future content.

I have this light. Awesome build quality. Frickin bright! Floodier than my other high lumen lights. The firefly mode is very low. Scared the poor opossum. LOL

first of all, this is a beast of a flashlight! I got mine at 20% discount pre-order and I'm glad I did! Second, at the beginning there was a small inaccuracy I wanted to address. It's not your fault, rather than the official Specs not being 100% correct. The 130 something minutes at Turbo is not really accurate. If you measure the light output you will find out that after 10-15 minutes the luminosity gradually drops at about one third of the rated max output. So it should be 15 Turbo + 110 reduced (around 1300- 1400 lumens I think). This is actually a good thing, otherwise the flashligt would melt in your hands, and 1300-1400 lumens is still plenty bright.
Anyway thanks for the review, it reflects my own opinions and conclusions quite well!

Hi. I've Had the tc20 for a week now and thoroughly love it and would recommend it tòo anyone wanting a powerful compact torch. the only complaint would be is the switch and settings the only other torch I've got is the klarus g20 another powerful torch where you've got instant access to turbo and strobe and press and hold to turn off! So the tc20 settings still keep on tripping me up but it is probably the best compact torch out there at the moment.

Hey Fred, a little of topic question. I have an olight m2r and will be mounting it on a rifle. I have battery storage and want to hold an extra 18650 3500ma. Is there a particular brand you would recommend from Amazon or should I just get one from olight. It would need to be extremely long storage capable.

Thanks for the interesting review. In my humble opinion, a flashlight at such a price should include a magnetic charge that is more durable than usb and improves the waterproofness. I could not figure out how it steps down as it warmed up. I'm particularly interested in the high mode. With the aim of buying one so that it would be on my bike's helmet.

Fred, Good to see and hear you. You seem a little reticent in this review. Hope all is well. I really do appreciate the form factor of a 26650 torch. Not like those soda can lights, this is very ergonomic.

Not a chance in hell im paying that much for a 🔦....id rather just use my cell phone light. I guess is you're a security guard working nights or something. Not for me...good video tho
