What an unbelievable find. I loved this song when it came out aged about 10. The video shows the band playing live with incredible virtuosity. One of the greatest performances of any band from the 70s.

So sorry to hear the sad news that Gary lost his battle with cancer. Conquistador and A Whiter Shade of Pale are classics from that great era of British Bands taking over popular music. There were so many British Bands with so much talent that it is easy to forget some of their songs. Just a few months ago I came across Conquistador on YT. I hadn't heard it in years and it was so great to hear this song and talented band again. It hurts to lose another musical hero. R.I.P. Gary Brooker.

RIP Gary Brooker. I didn't hear of this til now because Procol weren't that big in the States :( what a handsome man he was. One of the greatest most underrated vocalists ever, and great keyboardist.
