sliding them sideways was one of the first things I learned on track rigs. On an icy hill NEVER get one sideways cuz she skates like a bobsled out of control at necking speed.

Why not put boards under the tracks? We park ours on boards even in the barn

That's one of the benefits to the small ones is they're lighter. That & it hasn't lived in that spot for 40 or more years! Still, they put a little bog into the throttle there for a second.
