I feel the same way you do about infj and ENFJs. Infj was such an instant connection- felt like my soulmate and the talks are endless! I met my INFP over 2 years ago. I am an INFJ. I couldn't ask for a better partner. It is almost effortless. We love spending time together and can just literally exists like nothing else matters. I'm an INFP and I don't think I've ever dated an INFJ, but I do like them a lot. I've met a few who I wanted to date but it didn't make it that far. My most recent relationship was with an ENFJ and I loved the dynamic. I loved how talkative she was because it was so stimulating to me. She always worries that she talks too much and I'd always be like, "no seriously, please don't stop" haha. We connected very quickly and the conversation flowed so naturally, for the two years that we were together, we were talking or texting non-stop every day all day. I think I'm pretty close to the middle of the extroversion introversion spectrum, and I'm pretty social for an introvert, so I didn't mind her extroversion.

Coming from an INFJ male, the turbulent decision making of hers is what I would say is a trait of hers that I have to adapt to. And work with.

Grady, thank you so much for this video because I’ve been searching for proof that what I’m experiencing is true. I’m an INFJ who just took my friendship with an INFP to the next level. It’s the ultimate spiritual connection. We complement each other so perfectly on our journey’s. I’m an Infp female married to an Infj male. We hit it off easily and fell in love quickly. We have been married ten years and so much more in love. Our relationship keeps growing because we care so much about each other and appreciate each other. We enjoy spending time together so much even if we’re just sitting next to each other and not talking. I enjoy his help realizing my ideas and I help him feel known and cherished. We are parents and I’d have to say the one hard thing is that we both need a lot of downtime which doesn’t happen much when you have an extroverted young child. But we work out ways to give each other time to introvert while the other parent watches our child or get family to babysit. Of course the more mature and healthy each person is will determine the quality of the relationship, so don’t just rely on personality compatibility. I didn’t know his Meyers Briggs personality until later on but now I can see why we work so well together.
