I just didn't understand where the $500 came from, at no point did he say the monthly salary lol but I watched the video about 4 times to see if I hadn't missed anything

For those wondering where the $500 came from, it’s explained well in his full video, the guy who made this just did a really bad job clipping it up

Sell Like Crazy explains this pretty well with if you made $75 an hour, would you do your own laundry for an hour or have someone else do it for $20. You save $55 instead of hiring yourself $75 to do your own laundry. Delegate all the 80% of the activities that don't yield the highest return.

In summary if you want to make $500 an hour you should only do the things that would give you $500 an hour

It's interesting how the 12-hour shift is easy to forget all the time

He doesnt mention it, but this is for just over a million a year. 100 k a year would be 50 an hour etc...

Then the question becomes. What is the labor and time involved to wash the clothes you need to wear and clean the home you live in….
To do all those “extra things “ what’s that worth to have done for you!?!?
There is no non essential workers. If you didn’t do it? Some one would have to to maintain the appearance and level of cleanliness that would be expected of some one making $500 an hour!
What’s that person/ persons going to be paid to do what you don’t think is “worth your time”?

Having balance in your life isn't difficult. I make $45 an hour and I refuse to pay anyone anything to do the things I'm completely capable of doing on my own. I wouldn't be saving anything by paying someone else to handle the mundane tasks that really don't take up a lot of my time to do.

You need to adjust the value of your time since you only work 8 hours a day 5 days a week. The value of your time is actually 500*8*5/24*7 = 119 dollars an hour.

40x50=2000, 2000x500=1, 000, 000. So unless you make over a million dollars a year from 2000 hours of working, then and hour is not worth $500

It is enough for living with $50 per month in Ethiopia
